Dekmantel is launching a new label series called UFO
Peter van Hoesen is up first with ‘Quadra’
Dekmantel has added a new series to its ranks, with Peter van Hoesen’s ‘Quadra’ set as its first release. On this, van Hoesen explores breakbeat, EBM and dub.
The first output will be out in May, with UFO intending to issue releases from Marcel Dettmann, Randomer, DJ Stingray and Voiski. The label - named after the stage at Dekmantel Festival - is said to lean on the darker side of the spectrum, adapting darkwave funk and industrial sounds.
Peter van Hoesen’s ‘Quadra’ will be released at the end of May, but the tracklist can be viewed below.
