Deadmau5 responds to Noel Gallagher, takes down Avicii and Steve Aoki in the process
Yet another strong Twitter performance from the Canadian last night
Deadmau5 was at it again on Twitter last night, weighing in on Noel Gallagher after the High Flying Birds man had a dig at him at T In The Park.
It all started when Noel opened an interview by saying "Hello, this is Deadmau5 without the stupid fucking hat". Then the Mancunian went on a rant about Avicii, saying "I don't wish to know anything" about him and, in a different interview with XFM, said it was disturbing "if a dude in a hat and a pair of fake DJ decks pressing play on a CD player is what it's all about."
Anyway, Avicii didn't exactly take that well and took to Instagram yesterday with a South Park clip and a lengthy post which included "what is really "sad" is hearing an old time musician like yourself confessing so bluntly and openly to not having an open mind to new music by dissing shit u havn't even heard."
What happened next, you ask? The man with the mouse head and Twitter's very own Maximus Decimus Meridius decided to have his say and, although Noel seemed to get off lightly with an accent jibe, Avicii bore the brunt of his Twitter outburst.
I don't give a fuuuuuuuuck. @NoelGallagher is right. And avicicheese is obviously fuckin butthurt coz the tool plays cds. Facts are facts.

i dont have to fucking love the guy, but i can't say he's fuckin wrong.... but its funny to watch @avicci try to fuckin scramble out of it.

Of course it didn't stop there, though. A lengthy, expletive-filled blog rant about EDM producers incapable of DJing came next, before poor old Steve Aoki took an online punch when the Mau5 said "if you really can't figure out what to do or how to do it, throw a fuckin cake".
Noel might have been winning in his match against dance music a few weeks ago, but we reckon Deadmau5 has pulled it back to a draw after that performance.
