Darkstar (Midland Remix)

For the last few years Darkstar have made themselves comfortable on Warp Records and they've since released two stellar albums and a mixtape via the legendary imprint.

Their latest long player, released in September this year, was 'Foam Island' and the album received widespread critical acclaim for its melancholy feel and cultural relevance.

One of the stand-out tracks from the record was 'Stoke The Fire' and it's been gloriously remixed by Midland, another producer who's experiencing a hot streak of his own.

The multi-faceted producer always hits the sweet spot with his edits and this one is no different. After 30 seconds you're hit with those quintessential Midland synths that vibrate and transform as the song progresses.

The eloquent vocals are backed with meandering percussion and emotion-laced riffs. We're really feeling this one, check it.
