Converse has just unveiled a brand new line of their classic Chuck Taylors with a music twist.

The upcoming release will feature a built-in wah pedal in the sole of the sneaker. As one of the most iconic footwear brands and a fashion staple for live performers, the Chuck Taylors unique upgrade seems like the perfect combination of style, music and technology.

The prototype for the 'All Wah' line was created by Critical Mass in 2013 and later tweaked into a wireless version by fashion technology brand CuteCircuit.

The innovative design features a completely wireless sensory system that allows users to boost and add wah-wah effect to any synched guitar. Using Bluetooth connectivity, the high-top kicks are controlled by moving the sole and toe.

The technology is also compatible with Apple devices and potentially will be able to lend to other sound programs.

A number of artists have already started producing and performing with them. There's no word yet on when the All Wah Chuck Taylors will be available to the public.
