Bowers & Wilkins releases new Px7 S2e and special Px8 colourway

British audio brand Bowers & Wilkins has announced a new headphone, the Px7 S2e, and added a new colourway to its flagship wireless headphone, the Px8.

The model now comes in a Royal Burgundy finish. The new variant joins the existing Tan and Black options. The headphone features a single cast-aluminium arm structure, incorporating the brand's distinctive design language. The elliptical logo plates are accentuated with diamond-cut bright edges and the earcups, memory-foam cushions, and headband are trimmed with Nappa leather.

Underneath its exterior, the Px8 offers an exceptional audio performance. The headphone is equipped with 40mm Carbon Cone drive units, derived from Bowers & Wilkins' loudspeakers. These drive units, combined with the brand's advanced Digital Signal Processing (DSP), deliver 24-bit high-resolution sound quality, allowing users to enjoy their favourite music with exceptional clarity.

The acoustic engineering team at Bowers & Wilkins prides itself on its sound tuning for all Px8 models, which provide a detailed and an enhanced listening experience. The acoustic tuning ensures ultra-fast response and minimal distortion across the frequency range. This translates to a natural sound reproduction that brings music to life.

The news of the new Px8 colourway comes just a week after the team at Bowers & Wilkins expanded its line-up of premium wireless headphones with the release of the Px7 S2e. While Px7 S2e shares the same Carbon Cone drive unit and noise cancellation technology as the Px8, their sound quality differs as Px8 offers a more balanced and accurate sound signature, whereas the Px7 S2e emphasises bass for a more immersive listening experience. The Px7 S2e headphones are available in four premium finishes: Anthracite Black, Ocean Blue, Cloud Grey, and Forest Green.
