Blader Runner 2 has an official release date
The future is now
Expanding on the original film - based on a story by Philip K. Dick - the Blade Runner 2 release date has been announced: January 12 2018.
What is known so far is that the sequel stars Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford, with Denis Villeneuve of Prisoners and Sicario at the director helm. No plot details are known so far.
Blade Runner has been a major influence in the development of the sonic palette of electronic music due to Vangelis and a soundtrack that was primarily composed on synthesizer.
Though there has yet to be an announcement of who will score the film, we imagine that they will follow in the original’s footsteps with an in-tune and future-leaning artist.
