Beirut nightclub Nurai is hosting an event this week that will last from Monday until Wednesday, breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest dance party.

The 56 hour affair will break the previous world record of 55 hours, which was organized by Unique Events Limited and took place in Ireland in 2006. The Lebanese Ministry of Tourism partnered with Nurai for the marathon event and entry is free for the duration.

It seems this effort may be short lived, as Amsterdam nightclub De School is planning to host a 62-hour party in October during ADE. It’s important to note however, that in order to break a Guinness World Record one must apply on their website.
