Pangaea's bass-heavy Loleatta Holloway remix is finally getting a release
A gift to the masses
In the last month a driving, bass-heavy edit of a classic Loleatta track has been doing the rounds. The white label was soon confirmed to be by Hessle Audio's Pangaea. Now the track is getting a full release via classic disco label Salsoul this September.
On the white label release, 'Stand Up (Pangaea's Mix)' came packaged with an edit of Nomad's 'Devotion'. Unsurprisingly it quickly sold out. Now though, you have another chance to own the track. The original vocal acapella is taken from a 1976 track called 'Dreamin''.
