Amazon reportedly launching new music streaming platform
A new addition to the rapidly growing market
Amazon may be entering the music streaming market as early as this summer.
The paid subscription service will cost $9.99 a month and pair with the Amazon Echo, the brand's voice-controlled smart-speaker. The conglomerate plans to offer top of the line content rivaling current streaming services like Apple Music and Spotify.
Amazon's new deal aims to boost the Echo's popularity and widen their range of service options.
