AlunaGeorge and ZHU team for 'My Blood'
AlunaGeorge is also readying a new album
AlunaGeorge has teamed up with newcomer ZHU for a new track 'My Blood', released today on Zane Lowe's Beats 1.
The track taps into Aluna's unmistakable vocals for a sultry combination alongside ZHU's dragging, trip-step beats. The collaboration came about after Aluna first heard ZHU's 'Faded' and became determined to hunt the mysterious producer down.
"I was like 'I don't care if we don't know who he is, I'm going to find him. And I was such a geek." She reached out to artists he had collaborated with previously to find him, and after a quick hang in person at a show they were both playing, the two decided to official team together.
AlunaGeorge is also preparing to release her new album, the follow-up to 'Body Music' released in 2013.
