Deep drum 'n' bass brimming with emotion
It's fair to say Alix Perez is a bit of musical badman. The Belgian producer's got plenty of riddims in his catalogue, whether it be soothing jams or ferocious tear-ups, releasing on Shogun Audio, Exit Records, Metalheadz and Soul:r in the past.
Shogun was the label he released his debut album '1984' on, giving us the plush, soul-drenched 'Forsaken', while, more recently, he's teamed up with Eprom on the 'Shades' EP, unleashing his evil side with rabid rippers like 'Chiron'. Plus he laid down some fire in The Lab Los Angeles last month.
His music's far from demonic on new Exit Records EP 'Recall & Reflect', though, giving us four seductive groovers.
You know 'Revolve-Her' is going to be a gem when it starts with the heavenly-like shriek and the tune just keeps on giving with its bright, beaming pads and spine-tingling vocals. Deep drum 'n' bass brimming with emotion.
