AIAIAI has launched the world’s first-ever wireless studio monitors.

The UNIT-4 are completely battery-powered with 20 hours of playback time.

With ultra-low latency wireless audio, the monitors also provide lossless audio using the bespoke W+ Link technology AIAIAI developed from its 2021 TMA-2 Studio Wireless+.

Weighing at just 2.5kg per speaker, The UNIT-4 is designed with 100% recycled plastics from post-consumer sources.

As well as being made with recycled materials, the construction of each piece does not use any glue products therefore each component can be removed and replaced with a two-year warranty also available.

Its frequency response is 50Hz to 20kHz and a customisable EQ curve is available to access via the AIAIAI app.

Complete “wireless freedom” comes from both audio and power cables as the device uses Bluetooth but also has a 3.5mm mini-jack and 6.3mm balanced TRS inputs incase.

Frederik Jørgensen, AIAIAI Founder said: “We are constantly exploring how to remove friction in the creative process. As making music becomes more dynamic and collaborative, we’ve created UNIT-4 to empower creators to continue pushing creative boundaries."

Tom Fletcher, AIAIAI Product Manager explained: “There just weren't any good options available for music creators with a dynamic process. With UNIT-4, we've pushed the limits of compact speaker design to create a powerful reference studio monitor that is portable and completely wireless - for cable-free on the go music creation.”

The UNIT-4 Wireless+ are available to purchase at £700 as a pair and £350 each. Find out more here or watch the video below.
