DJ Spoony has announced a garage classics set with a 40-piece orchestra
Expect strings, brass and special guests like Kele Le Roc and Sweet Female Attitude
Have you ever imagined what ‘Flowers’ by Sweet Female Attitude would sound like reinterpreted by a 40-piece orchestra? Well, DJ Spoony and the Liverpool International Music Festival have decided to make this fantasy a reality.
In a one-off performance at Liverpool International Music Festival, DJ Spoony will present a UK garage classics live set with the backing of the Royal Northern College of Music Session Orchestra.
Spoony, the former Kiss and Radio 1 DJ and current presenter of Premier League TV, will be joined on stage by garage acts Kele Le Roc, Elizabeth Troy and Sweet Female Attitude.
This theme of this year's event, held on July 21 at Sefton Park, is Remembering the Times. Also playing at the festival are So Solid Crew, Donaeo, Sticky, Artful Dodger and DJ Zeke.
