It’s 20 years to the day Sasha and John Digweed released the critically acclaimed ‘Northern Exposure’ mix CD on Ministry Of Sound.

From a time when mix albums were fully formed concept records, re-contextualizing tracks and taking the listener on a new journey, the legendary Sasha and John Digweed were at the peak of their powers together.

Side one presents a trippier palette of sprawling orchestral progressive house while the second side is pure autobahn-speed proto-trance and techno.

1 Future Sound Of London 'Cascade'

With broken beats experiencing a heady time in the musical spotlight, Future Sound Of London weren't far from many of the genre's best moments. This trippy roller is one of those highlights.

2 Young American Primitive 'These Waves'

Baggy beats, swelling strings and glistening arps all make this track euphoric on the dancefloor or a classic in a chill out mix.
