Morly
AFTER THE LO-FI productions of last August’s ‘In Defense Of My Muse’ EP, Morly has found her voice on forthcoming EP ‘More Holy’. Against skittering drum patterns and delicate piano melodies, her voice adds sweetness to her sometimes sombre tracks. On tracks like ‘If Only Chords’ she crafts melancholic pop, building from gentle vocals to hit epic peaks. While her productions are often floaty, with the string stabs of ‘By The Polo Pond’ and the bounce of ‘Plucky’ she always manages to keep her sound from drifting into the ether.
