Netflix drops trailer for Kid Cudi’s new animated series Entergalactic

The trailer to Kid Cudi’s new animated series on Netflix has just dropped.

Titled Entergalactic the series has been teased by Cudi since back in 2019 but will finally be out at the end of this month.

What makes this new series extra special is Cudi added new music in throughout the series which he explains in a Tweet: “Entergalactic is a Kid Cudi album. Not a sountrack.”

The tweet that he posted yesterday added: “Please, dont think this is not as important or as big as MOTM3. This is another beautiful solo effort I think U all will enjoy. I need yall all to come out on Sept 30th and support.”

Entergalactic’s follows the story of two young artists finding love in New York City and was created by Kid Cudi and executive producer Kenya Barris.

Netflix add in the description: “Ambitious artist Jabari attempts to balance success and love when he moves into his dream Manhattan apartment and falls for his next-door neighbor.”

Cast includes Timothée Chalamet, Ty Dolla $ign, Vanessa Hudgens, Christopher Abbott, 070 Shake, Jaden Smith, Keith David, Teyana Taylor, and Macaulay Culkin.

Earlier this year, it was announced that Kid Cudi would make his directorial debut with movie Teddy which he will also be starring in.

Premiering on Netflix in 2023, the film also has Jay-Z as one of its producers.

Entergalactic is out September 30 as well as Cudi’s supporting album.
