Lil Baby fans arrested at Vancouver's Breakout Festival following riot
The rapper caused chaos by cancelling 30 minutes prior to his headline show
Lil Baby cancelled his headlining set at Vancouver’s Breakout Festival just 30 minutes before he was due on stage, leading to a violent riot from fans.
According to the festival, the rapper was said to be “too sick to perform” however, this was not accepted by audience members who erupted into chaos after the announcement was made.
Based at the PNE Amphitheatre, Canadian Police arrested seven people, with the uproar said to have resulted in thousands of dollars of damage.

The crowd had gathered to see Lil Baby — real named Dominique Armani Jones — but instead "destructive concert-goers became hostile" according to Vancouver Police Constable Tania Visintin.
“Vancouver Police officers were already inside the venue and providing extra security when several hundred people began fighting and destroying property in the Amphitheatre, on the PNE grounds, and in the surrounding neighbourhood,” says Constable Tania Visintin.
“Dozens of extra officers were redeployed from other areas of the city to restore order, with some officers having bottles and other objects thrown at them.”
“We will conduct a full and thorough investigation into the actions of anyone who destroyed property, put concert-goers in danger, or committed other criminal acts,” adds Constable Visintin. “Though this investigation will take time, we will pursue criminal charges against people who participated in this violence and destruction.”
According to the BBC, several hundred people began to fight and destroy the venue with tables, fridges and tents knocked down and objects were also thrown at the police

"I have been going so hard these past few months without any breaks that it finally caught up with me. And my body completely shut down.
"I owe you guys big time and will for sure make up for it soon."
As well as Lil Baby, Lil Uzi Vert, Polo G and Sofaygo also pulled out of performing at this year’s festival.
