V-Moda introduces 3D-printed headphone shields
The audio brand ups its customisation levels
V-Moda is already known for the huge customisation options it offers for its headphones, but things have just got even better. Now, in addition to flat 2D designs, V-Moda is offering 3D-printed headphone shields for an even greater level of customisation.
Made in New York, each headphone design can be customised by first selecting the base colour, then material and finally design. V-Moda also says users will be able to upload their own design too.
For the ultimate in customisation, V-Moda will even make plates fashioned from sterling silver, solid 14k gold, 14k rose gold, 14k white gold or platinum.
Prices for sterling silver start at $430 for an on-ear kit, and go as high as $40,000 for a full platinum over ear design, including a V-Moda Crossfade M-100.
