Tycho, also known as Scott Hansen, shares ‘Epoch’, a new single that serves as the foundation for his his next album.

Throughout his career, Hansen has stayed true to an ethereal and surreal aesthetic that yields beautifully anthemic productions, but according to the description, he'll be transitioning to a darker motif for his next release.

“The new album is at once a departure and an evolution for Tycho; honing the sonic aesthetic of Dive while drawing on the kinetic energy of Awake, it explores darker themes and new musical territory,” the description reads.

Although ‘Epoch’ is still very much a shimmering track that follows suite with his previously released material, listeners will have to wait and see if he ventures down a dark path moving forward.

Listen to ‘Epoch’ below and look for more news on his new album coming soon.
