TT Label releases new compilation, ‘Performance Enhancers’

Leftfield exploratory electronic platform TT Label, ran by DJ Pitch, has released its latest compilation ‘Performance Enhancers’.

The album dropped on Friday and features tunes from bambino dj, Jetty, DJ RISH and PELLE ROCK.

It consists of a cross-sectional exploration into a variety of genres, with eight handpicked tunes produced by the four artists.

bambino dj’s tunes kick the album off, with two club-orientated cuts which incorporate a mixture of elements characteristic of dancehall sounds and harmonic elements.

"London’s club music culture is a hub of innovation unmatched in the world," they explain. "By including me in this compilation the TT crew is establishing a direct connection between myself and an ecosystem that I have always drawn inspiration from. I a feel honoured and very grateful for this opportunity."

Following this, Jetty’s two contributions explore a dembow beat, both of which embrace the compilation’s overall dreamlike sound. DJ RISH’S tracks add a nostalgic feel to the eight-tracker, whilst PELLE ROCK provides two cuts with contrasting stylistic elements to close the album.

The album’s use of sampling, low slung tunes and syncopated beats coupled with euphoric sounds tie together the compilation and further contribute to TT Label’s identity as a left-of-centre pop, club and experimental space for producers.
