Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs releases his first original in three years

It's certainly been a long time since we last heard from Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

His last original, a collaboration called 'Spacer' with Boys Noize which premiered on Mixmag, was released back in 2015. Since, it's been quiet on the release front for TEED as he's been hard at work on his second album.

On his own birthday, he's decided to break his production 'hiatus'. Shared without much advance notice on his SoundCloud page, TEED has shared his newest release called 'Leave A Light On'.

"As a present to myself I want to finally put out some music," he stated in his social posts. "This is just on SoundCloud, there is no management, label, publisher, PR, marketing, so excuse the amateur vibes. It's just me (and some supportive friends). In fact this is not a smart thing to do at all. But I owe it to myself to break out of this cycle of not releasing music. No sob story necessary, just trust making this album has been incredibly hard."

The vocal-heavy track is melancholic from the get go, slowly building into a fluttering burst of electronic melodies. Take a listen to the track below.
