Coldplay remix takes producer in a refined direction
Tiësto has unleashed an 'Experimental Tech House' remix of Coldplay's 'Midnight'.
The Dutch producer, famous for pioneering trance and taking big room dance music across the gold, takes things in a refined direction on the rework, which he has uploaded as a bootleg to his SoundCloud.
With Afrojack, Deadmau5 and Porter Robinson all taking their respective styles to new places, could this be a signal that Tiësto is also switching things up in the studio?
Last year he launched a deep house radio show and the Coldplay bootleg plays on the type of rolling, steely four-to-the-floor taking over dancefloors from Ibiza to Miami to New York to Berlin. Intriguing indeed.
