The movie corporation believe it will look too similar to Mickey Mouse

Disney is reportedly investigating the Mau5 man's attempt to trademark a black and white caricature of his signature mouse head.

According to Billboard, the movie corporation made the US Trademark Office aware of the investigation, which they have 90 days to fulfil, as they believe the logo's resemblance to Mickey Mouse could be misleading.

It is believed that Deadmau5's potential trademark, which was applied for by his Ronica Holdings Ltd, would appear on a host of products, including BMX bikes, leather goods, sporting equipment, toys, staple goods such as coffee and entertainment services.

It's funny that the Canadian has ruffled Disney's feathers but why the world needs a Deadmau5 branded coffee is anyone's guess.
