The Scumfrog in The Lab NYC
Eclectic selections from Jesse Houk
The Lab New York is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs, live from our private Brooklyn location. This Friday we are delighted to host the Dutch/American artist, The Scumfrog (aka Jesse Houk) in The Lab NYC.
Producing since 2000, The Scumfrog is best known for his early works like 'Watersong' and 'We Love You', though, Jesse's musical career really took off with his unreleased remix of Peter Bjorn & John's track 'The Young Folks'.
Jesse's career has been especially successful due to his ability to work with mainstream artists, while also maintaining a presence in the underground. Being a favourite amongst the Burning Man community, he's a regular atop the Robot Heart bus. His sets from the desert can be found here.

The Smirnoff Sound Collective is all about bringing fans closer to the DJs, providing up and coming talent with a solid platform and throwing unique events where fans and artists can party together. Check out more from the Sound Collective here.
