The Pikes Ibiza founder is asking for cancer treatment donations

Anthony Pike, founder of the legendary Pikes Ibiza hotel, is asking for donations to fund his cancer treatment.

The 84-year-old has been diagnosed with prostate cancer and skin cancer, which requires treatment from a specialist on the mainland.

Pikes was founded in 1978 and was frequented by celebrities such as Freddie Mercury and Grace Jones for wild parties in the 1980s. Wham! also recorded the video for 'Club Tropicana' there.

Pike sold the hotel to Ibiza Rocks in 2008. However, he is struggling to find the money for his hospital bills.

So far, Pike has raised €854 of his €26,000 goal. You can donate to his cancer treatment here.
