The Obamas will be at SXSW Festival in Texas
And we're hoping for a surprise b2b set
SXSW in Austin, Texas has announced that both President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will be keynote speakers at the 30th anniversary of the festival, happening later this month.
First Lady Michelle Obama will be leading the discussion at SXSW Music in respect to her Let Girls Learn initiative, as part of SXSW's celebration of Women's History Month. While the First Lady tackles women's issues, The President of The United States will be leading the conversation on technology's importance in combating political and environmental matters.
While The Obamas will undoubtedly leave their mark on SXSW, Mixmag will still be on the lookout for the pop-up show headlined by DJ Barack.
SXSW begins on March 11 and will continue through March 20. Festival passes can be found here.
