That new Sade track you've been waiting for has surfaced
'Flower Of The Universe' will appear on Disney film A Wrinkle In Time
Everyone was pretty excited when it was first announced Sade would be returning after eight years of no music. Now we've got the actual audio of the comeback track.
'Flower Of The Universe', produced by G Unit, Common and Kanye West collaborator No I.D, will feature on Ava DuVernay's Disney film A Wrinkle In Time, which hits cinemas on March 23.
The vocals for the track are subtle and woozy, typical of Sade's previous tunes, on top of a glittering, slow-burning production.
No I.D shared the audio on Twitter, labelling Sade a "legend".
Ava DuVernay also called the singer a "goddess" when she shared the news on Twitter.
I never thought she’d say yes, but asked anyway. She was kind + giving. A goddess. We began a journey together that I’ll never forget. Proud to announce that Sade has created an original song for WRINKLE IN TIME. It’s entitled “Flower of the Universe.” And it’s a dream come true. pic.twitter.com/FdXrZ1MFMO
