Taimur & Fahad in The Lab NYC

The Lab New York is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly afterwork party where we stream the best American and international DJs, live from our private Brooklyn location. This Friday, November 13 in the lab we have longstanding members of the NYC house and techno scene, the pioneering DJs/producers, Taimur & Fahad of Blkmarket Membership.

Since 2006, Taimur Agha and Fahad Halder have been pillars in the building of the NYC underground house and techno scene after the dissolution of the city's club scene post 9/11. After their run with ROBOTS, Bill Patrick, Nick Ac, and Dennis Rodgers parted ways, handing the torch to Taimur and Fahad. The duo took that torch and were prominent lights in the re-established dance culture and still, are heads of some of the biggest party productions in the city's scene as of late.

BlkMarket Membership hold a residency at the prestigious Nouveau York party at Le Bain and just launched a label under the same name, so stay tuned for some fresh releases. Listen to the first release on BlkMarket Membership below.
