Swindle and D Double E fuse ‘Funk & Grime’ on new track ‘Lemon Trees’

Swindle and D Double E have shared a video for ‘Lemon Trees’, a cut taken from Swindle’s new ‘Funk & Grime’ EP.

The record marks the second instalment in Swindle's ‘Trilogy In Funk’ series, following on from the ‘Connecta’ EP that combined grime with elements of Latin music.

‘Funk & Grime’ also features Ghetts, JME and a Flava D remix across its five-track runtime. It’s out on September 16 via Butterz and is available for pre-order now on iTunes.

‘Lemon Trees’ meshes a scuzzy grime foundation with breezy funk melodies, and arrives accompanied with a colourful, summery clip shot in Los Angeles. Check it out along with the EP tracklist below.

1. Lemon Trees Feat D Double E
2. Works Haffi Run Feat Ghetts
3. Mad Ting feat JME (Flava D Remix)
4. Lemon Trees (Instrumental)
5. Works Haffi Run (Instrumental)
