Check the official video for Purple Disco Machine’s ‘Walls’
Mixmag TV bring you the exclusive premiere
Purple Disco Machine has been making serious waves lately. In 2015 he named as Traxsource’s Artist of the Year, and was just pipped by Claptone for the top spot of Beatport’s Deep House Artist of the Year award, coming in second after having 12 releases featured in the Beatport Top 10 since 2012.
His remix skills have also been in hot demand, with Faithless, New Order and Hercules & Love Affair among the artists who have tapped him to rework their music.
Pete Tong selected both tracks of his recent ‘Tank Drop’ EP as the Essential New Tune on his BBC Radio 1 show in a rare double award, unable to separate each quality cut.
This hot streak now continues apace with new track ‘Walls' marking another deep and soulful vocal house addition to his impressive discography. We’re premiering the track and official Jeremy Rubier-directed video, featuring a young child journeying through the stunning surroundings of Hong Kong. Watch it below.
