​Sunset Sound System celebrates 25 years with 10 new events

To celebrate its 25 year milestone, the Bay Area's iconic Sunset Sound System party has announced 10 events for the 2019 calendar.

First started by veteran DJs Solar and Galen in 1994, the rave brand has nurtured one of the most prolific dance music communities in the US. Famous for their San Francisco park and boat parties, international stage takeovers and beloved Sunset Campout festival in California, Sunset Sound System remains an integral component of the West Coast rave experience.

To kick off this celebratory event series, the party will set up at The Midway Patio in their native San Fransisco on April 7, followed by a Sunset Spring season opener park party and after-party at Stafford Lake in Marin County, California on April 28.

In June and July, Sunset Sound System will travel abroad to Meadows In The Mountains in Bulgaria and Love International Festival in Croatia two special stage takeovers.

Now in its tenth year, Sunset Campout returns to the towering redwoods at Belden Town Resort in California between July 26 - 29. Year after year, the event locks down its reputation as one of the most creative festival environments in the US with its idyllic atmosphere and stunning line-ups of underground talent.

Some of the artists tapped for these far-reaching and diverse events include Eddie C, Dixon, Maurice Fulton, Joy Orbison and more.
