More Bug fire on Poker Flat as we premiere 'Thick As Mud'
Steve Bug is a busy, busy man. Not only is he constantly widening his discography with a steady stream of releases, but he runs and manages three record labels in the form of Poker Flat, Dessous and Audiomatique.
Last year Poker Flat celebrated its 15th birthday and Steve made sure the party went off in style. An anniversary compilation featuring Josh Wink, Taylor, DJ Tennis & Mind Against and Mark Henning dropped at the end of the year and showcased the sublime sounds of the imprint.
Now Steve returns to his prized label with a three track EP and you've got a lot to look forward to. The 'Coconut Paradise' EP is another fine example of Bug's production skills and we've got the premiere of B-sider 'Thick As Mud'.
The track is a chunky and heavy roller with fierce bass undertones and mischievous synth lines to boot. It's got a beautifully dubby edge to it and will have you floating across the dancefloor in about 45 seconds.
