Spotify playlist: 50 trippy techno vortexes
Lose yourself
Our Best New Techno playlist has been loaded with more head-spinning music.
Flawless labels Timedance and Hessle Audio have each put out releases this week and naturally all four sides make the grade, featuring a mix of sparse, transportive and throbbing sounds from Beatrice Dillon & Call Super, and Peder Mannerfelt and Beatrice Dillon remixing Ploy.
There’s also the emotive closer to Steffi’s new Ostgut Ton album; Gerd Janson turning Coyu’s ‘1+1’ into an arpeggiated surger; Cirez D on a disorientating tip; spacey offerings from A Sagittariun, Henry Keen as The Room Below and James Holden’s new project; progressive energy from Kölsch; Len Faki with a moody remix of Frankie Bones; Artwork's long-awaited acid banger; and a suffocating dose of bassy intensity from Cocktail Party Effect on Pinch’s Cold.
Listen below and head here to subscribe to the playlist to keep current with the pulse of techno.
