Spotify playlist: 50 cuts making London move this week
Big tunes from the Big Smoke
Each week Mixmag digs deep into the furthest corners of the UK capital to find the best new house, techno, grime and UK rap. This week's update to the The Sound Of London playlist includes a host of cutting edge releases from the Big Smoke.
Upcoming emcees like Fredo and Youngs Teflon get a look in, as does don Skepta (pictured) with his new track 'Hypocrisy'. Houndstooth's Akkord supplies a typically dystopian take on jungle with 'RCVR' and Kid Drama turns up with forward-looking drum 'n' bass on 'Trife'. Four Tet's new 'Two Thousand and Seventeen' also features and, as you have probably heard, it's a slice of blissed-out hip-house. Make sure to check out Octo Octa's cinematic take on Few Nolder's 'Porcelain', it's one of this week's slickest remixes.
Make sure to follow the playlist on Spotify for a weekly round-up of the freshest music coming out of London.
