Spain will allow visitors from the UK from March 30
The earliest that people from the UK can go abroad is May 17
Spain will lift its travel ban on visitors from the UK on March 30.
The move comes as the country continues to prepare for a "normal" summer and to boost its beleaguered tourism industry, which relies heavily on UK tourists.

Government spokesperson María Jesús Montero told press on Tuesday that “Spain is a safe country that is strictly following the recommendations of the World Health Organization and the experts."
However UK tourists will have to wait until May 17 to go abroad as that's currently when international travel restrictions are set to lift.

The government will announce more information on international travel in early April.
It has also just brought in a £5000 fine for anyone going abroad on holiday before travel restrictions are lifted.
