Hopkins and FlyLo honor Transcendental Meditation for The David Lynch Foundation in Brooklyn
Last weekend, Jon Hopkins, and Flying Lotus played mind-altering sets accompanied by complex visuals designed by Dave Wexler aka 'strangeloop' at The Music Hall of Williamsburg for the David Lynch Foundation, which raises funds and awareness for the practice of Transcendental Meditation (TM) among groups of people at risk of toxic stress and trauma.
With both artists having scored films, it's evident why Lynch chose them to play this charity event. Each delivered elevating performances that could be appropriately classified as transcendental. Hopkins and FlyLo left audience members feeling like they experienced the 11th dimension.
