Haiti-native Michael Brun first developed his musical tastes during childhood and has evolved into a household name in the dance music community. Combining heavy influences from his Haitian disco roots, synth sound and Afrogroove elements, Brun has created a signature style of uplifting house with distinct summer vibrations. The young but prolific artist has performed at major festivals like Ultra, EDC and Coachella.

Getting his start in the scene after receiving the stamp of approval from producer Dirty South, Michael went on to begin carving out his own path in the electronic music realm by focusing on his Haitian roots. He discusses his experience growing up and appreciating his heritage and explains how he hopes to continue bringing those influences into his work in his 'Meet the Smirnoff Sound Collective' episode, below.
