​Shall Not Fade announces debut festival in Bristol

To celebrate the label’s seventh birthday, Shall Not Fade has announced a brand new festival hitting Bristol’s city centre later this year.

On September 10, 2022, Shall Not Fade Festival will take place “in the heart of Bristol” with a selection of names from the imprint’s expansive roster, as well as the label’s sub imprint, Time Is Now.

So far, more than 25 names are lined up for the one-day event. The line-up is yet to be announced, as is the secret location for the debut festival.

“We wanted to bring together as many artists from Shall Not Fade & Time Is Now for one massive party to celebrate 7 years of existence,” Shall Not Fade’s Kieran Williams told Mixmag.

“Having grown up in Bristol and finding my love for dance music here too, it’s a dream come true to be able to run an independent festival in this wonderful city.”

Expanding to include a plethora of genres from house to techno, UKG, jungle, breaks, and more, Shall Not Fade festival is also set to boast a 50/50 gender split.

“The festival is committed to inclusivity and diversity which is why we have carefully curated our line-up to be fair and equally representative of men and women with a 50:50 split,” the team added.

Shall Not Fade Festival will also feature Bristol-local eateries, “We’ve invited some of Bristol’s most reputable eateries down to provide on-site catering, with full catering partners to be announced shortly,” they revealed.
