Seth Troxler offers €10 an hour to help save record collection damaged in Ibiza floods
Troxler said his 12,000-strong collection was “nearly destroyed” in a recent storm on the White Isle
Seth Troxler is urging for help in saving his record collection, which has been “nearly destroyed” by recent flooding in Ibiza.
Troxler said he will pay willing helpers €10 (£8.68) per hour to salvage his 12,000-strong collection, many of which were damaged in flooding and severe rainstorms.
“I need help from some people in Ibiza,” Troxler said in an Instagram story, now shared via I’ve Got It On Vinyl. “Most of my record collection was basically nearly destroyed in the flood.”

He said that of a collection of 12,000 records, around 6,000 of them were submerged underwater. “I was just with my wife and some people trying to clean them and save stuff, but it’s just too emotional… it’s fucking me up,” he said.
“If you love records and would love to clean an incredible collection and try to save some really beautiful covers, please reach out to me,” he added, urging any Ibiza locals to help out before they begin to “mould”.
Troxler also shared a video showing his record collection bagged up, with the caption: “Help save me”. Some hit back at his payment offer, joking that for €10, you’d get “a quarter of a drink where he plays tonight”.
