Selects: Lido's all-time favourites

There's many ways that you might've already met Lido, a Norwegian artist who produced the debut album for pop star Halsey, as well as tracks for Banks and Chance the Rapper and made quite the splash with his debut album 'Everything'.

Sitting right on the fence of the delicate balance between electronic music and pop music, Lido has proven his versatility and acute production touch while never foregoing his talent as a great DJ too.

Next, he heads to Los Angeles' brand new event Skyline, where he's set to headline alongside Miike Snow, Duke Dumont and more on May 20. Learn more about Skyline and find tickets here.

Smino 'Glass Flows'

Smino is my one of my favorite rappers right now. He’s so quick and I loved his album. The female vocal on this is captivating. That Timberlake 'Cry Me A River' 3/4 of the way through gets me EVERY TIME.

Calvin Harris 'Slide'

This feels good to play in the car when the sun is out. I love the uptempo vibe for Frank. I’m a sucker for chords and this opens with just that. I also low key love to play this on the piano.

Childish Gambino 'Redbone'

I can’t turn this off! The first few times I heard it, it was stuck in my head for days. I'm always surprised when I have it on rotation and someone hears it for the first time. It’s a great summertime record that gets me excited for the spending time in the sun.

Sampha 'Blood On Me'

Incredible album, incredible artist; really inspiring overall.

Thundercats 'Walk On By'

The album cover is what drew me to this one. I saw Kendrick on it and knew I had to listen… I really enjoyed his recent album, he's another artist I admire greatly.

Steely Dan 'Home At Last'

One of my favorite songs of all time, I just had to include this one. Steely Dan is my guilty pleasure, I'm always listening to his music. Honestly, he’s one of my biggest inspirations, I like to think I bring a little piece of Steely Dan with me when I write and record my own stuff.

Johnny Yukon 'Laptop'

Johnny is my favorite up and coming artist right now. Check him out. So. Good.

Frank Ocean 'Chanel'

This song is so weird, yet so simple at the same time. I bump this when I make breakfast in the morning. I was jamming so hard the other day that I cut my finger trying to break into an avocado… worth it though. Avocado is the best.

6lack 'MTFU'

6lack is another great up and coming artist, I've had this song on repeat for a while.

Cashmere Cat 'Wild Love'

I owe a lot to this guy, and this song is amazing. I can't wait for his album.
