Selects: Andy C

The drum 'n' bass king curates the classics

Selects: Andy C

When it comes to drum 'n' bass, there are few names as prolific as Andy C. The Ram Records boss and worldwide selector has been making waves since he exploded onto the scene nearly 25 years ago.

The pioneer ranked number four in our Greatest DJs Of All Time poll back in 2011, the highest ranking UK DJ, and cuts like 'Body Rock' and his remix of 'Circles' by Adam F still do damage whenever they're dropped.

His curation on Ram has seen him bring through mammoth artists like Chase & Status, Sub Focus and more recently Wilkinson, one of the genre's biggest crossover acts.

With a new EP dropping via Ram on February 19, we can expect more fire from the boss but all roads lead to Alexandra Palace as Andy will host an all-night session at the legendary venue on March 24.

For his Selects playlist, Andy has drawn for the classics. The tracks that have influenced him and the cuts that have had him moving. It's a step away from dnb but that's what we like. Get to know what makes Andy C tick.
