Say hello to the revamped Gorillaz characters
New album 'Humanz' is out on April 28
Gorillaz announced the release date of their new album 'Humanz' yesterday and with that came revamped characters.
As the album title suggests, Noodle, 2D, Murdoc and Russell look the least primate-like they ever have, now resembling humans in 2017.
They've got a strong fashion game, too, with Russell sporting a leopard-print hat and Noodle rocking love heart shades.
As well as the new characters, Damon Albarn and co. also unveiled artwork for each letter of the LP's title, featuring all collaborators including Grace Jones, Pusha T and Danny Brown.
Check them out in the gallery above, along with stills from the 360-degree 'Saturnz Barz' clip featuring dancehall artist Popcaan.
