Rushmore

Rushmore opened the World Series at the start of the year. How time flies!

Young guns Grovestreet, Air Max '97 and Akito, among others, have all graced the series since then and contributed to a hit-rate of one EP a month. It's killer work from Trax Couture and to round out a year of incisive new music, the label bossman steps out to bring the whole thing full circle. Highlights include 'A-N-E', a grime riddim as comfy as a La-Z-Boy; neon earworm 'Central Leisure'; and the wrangled electronics of 'H-O-T'.

At eight tracks it feels a little long, but fuck it: Rushmore's celebrating a very productive year.
