Rinse FM launches new in-house label, Ingram
The London station celebrates the launch with a party next week
Rinse FM is starting a brand new venture as it unveils a new in-house label named Ingram – the fifth imprint to be launched by the London radio station to date.
Delving beyond the signature bass-heavy sound of Rinse, the new label aims to explore more leftfield avenues of electronic music, with the first release coming from cu.rve and Well Street Records founder Fold.
The introductory single ‘Business’ is set to be released on July 10, and sets the tone for the direction of the label with a dark, heavy-hitting track. The track has so far been supported by the likes of Overmono, Joy Orbison, Bakey, and Ben UFO.

The label is being celebrated with a launch party at Cu in Dalston on July 9, with Fold and cu.rve billed to play alongside Coza, Pent1 and Just Jane.
DaMetalMessiah previewed the upcoming single on his latest Rinse show on July 2, and spoke with the station's founder, Geeneus, about the launch of the new imprint: “It’s a label that will have a slightly different direction from the general Rinse label, and will go into more of what we see as a future sound.”
“I can’t 100% identify the sound yet, but for me, that’s the exciting part.”
“There isn’t a full-scale attack to sign everything that’s popping, it’s more about what we like, what we stand for, and how we build this community.”

It was also revealed on the show that the first single will be followed by an EP from German producer COIDO, though no date has been confirmed just yet.
The announcement of this new label comes a month after Rinse announced their new programming schedule, bringing in brand new faces to the radio such as DJ Lag, Tom Ravenscroft, and riria.
Last week, the station also shared details around its Rinse Summer Terrace parties, which will be returning to Night Tales in London with acts like Tommy Gold, Saint Ludo and Ghoulish set to play.
