Richie Hawtin demonstrates gear to Marcel Dettmann and Tiga in this video promo
He worked with Andy Rigby-Jones on the "innovative new instrument"
As we reported last month, Richie Hawtin has a new technology product named PLAYdifferently on the way.
Now a new promotional video for the hardware has been released, in which it is described as an “innovative new instrument.”
Hawtin worked in partnership with former Allen & Heath man Andy Rigby-Jones on the project, which he explains in the video will hopefully “drive the electronic music community forward, creatively and technologically.”
Marcel Dettmann, Tiga, Josh Wink and Chris Liebing also appear in the video, with Hawtin giving them a demonstration of his invention, which has been roadtested for two years at events such as Glastonbury and ENTER.Ibiza.
