Electronic artists including Red Axes and Minor Science have reimagined classic rock tracks on a new compilation entitled 'Covered in Gloria' due out on September 8.

The compilation features electronic covers of classic tracks by Oasis, Wham! and Roy Orbison. Red Axes (pictured) take on a little-heard track by Ms K Wilde. The compilation also includes covers by Suzanne Kraft, Whities’ Reckonwrong and Minor Science, each supplying a drastic re-think of a classic track by the Beastie Boys, A Guy Called Gerald and Kim Wild. The LP is the third instalment from London’s Deek Recordings.

‘Covered in Gloria’ is due out digitally on September 8. Buy it on vinyl here. Listen to Thool and Marieke's take on Joe Jackson's track 'Stepping Out' below.
