Rebekah announces her first solo EP in two years
'No Escape' lands on November 25
Rebekah is returning to her Elements label to release her first solo EP in two years, 'No Escape'.
The record consists of five pumping tracks which reinforce Rebekah's status as an innovative, forward-thinking name in techno: leading 'Teletubbybebe' combines synths and high energy drums to offer a warehouse-ready track, with titular track 'No Escape' upping the tempo further with squelching sound effects to boot.
'The Way of the Warrior' marks the midway checkpoint of the EP, melding its way through half and double time to showcase crunching sonics, twisting and turning through the five minutes.

Penultimate 'Ali's Groove' is a trippy affair, with hypnotic vocal snippets layering perfectly over rattling percussion and machine FX before final track 'The Fight' adds to the carefully-curated chaos with distorted bass frequencies and ringing instrumentation to bring the record to a close.
"Creating a solo EP wasn’t the easiest after a two-year break," explains Rebekah. "With the uncertainty of the coronavirus, confusion of having a clear direction of where we are heading musically, and other projects vying for my attention brought me to an almost standstill.
"But playing shows this past year and really enjoying just sharing energy was inspiration enough to just go into the studio with that energy and create more track-based pieces. No frills here: just some bangers for DJs sets.”
