Treasure trove of rare demos and unheard music from The Prodigy has been uncovered

A website has unearthed a host of rare demos, hidden gems and live recordings from The Prodigy.

The Prodi.gy all souvenirs are here, presents a database of "live only" tracks, "rare studio tracks", "side projects", "samples", "promo & rare releases", "unreleased & unheard" and more, with several different clips available to listen via Soundcloud, YouTube and Vimeo links.

Standout gems from the collection include a studio-quality cover of The Specials’s classic song ‘Ghost Town’, an alternative video for ‘Take Me To The Hospital’, a rare VIP mix of Bug Kahn & The Plastic Jam’s 1997 track ‘Made In 2 Minutes’, and a live cover of Madness’s ‘Nightboat To Cairo’.

On top of the music, the website also collates tracklists from The Prodigy’s early live shows, interviews with band members, as well as album and touring art and design.

In the website’s team page, a mysterious statement reads: “All Souvenirs is the unique project of five professionals working in different directions, yet closely tied with the music industry in one way or another.

“We pooled our resources to create a new website with different rare information as it was trendy in the early 2000s,” it continued.

“On our website, exclusive and the most credible information about the great band which has become common interest in recent years is collected bit by bit.”

Last year, The Prodigy embarked on their first tour since the death of lead singer Keith Flint in March 2019. The band will be playing at the 2023 editions of Serbia’s EXIT Festival and Parklife in Manchester.

Speaking about The Prodigy’s upcoming performance at EXIT, co-founding member Liam Howlett said: “EXIT is our favourite festival! We were there in Serbia when a lot of shit went down. They hold us in their hearts as a special band, and we love the people there.”
