Public Memory shares the atmospheric ‘Zig Zag’
An intense LP is ahead of us
Robert Toher who performs as Public Memory has unveiled ‘Zig Zag’, the third single from his latest effort ‘Wuthering Drum’.
‘Zig Zag’ is a curious Krautrock-inspired track that offers insight into the overall mood of the forthcoming album. His vocals float above the mix, guiding the listener through a consistent and hypnotic percussion pattern. Putting the rhythm first, ‘Zig Zag’ builds on a tumbling pair of drum licks with support from the cold buzz of his trusty Korg MS-20.
‘Wuthering Drum’ is scheduled for a March 18 release and can be pre-ordered here. Hear 'Zig Zag' below.DeForrest Brown is Mixmag's East Coast Editor. Follow him on Twitter
