RJD2 unveils ‘The Sheboygan Left’ from his forthcoming album
A soulful taster of what’s to come
Shortly after announcing his return, RJD2 has issued out a second track from his upcoming fifth effort, ‘Dame Fortune’.
‘The Sheboygan Left’ continues RJD2’s exploration of euphoric hip hop, bringing out golden-hued brass and uplifting backing vocals straight out of South Side Chicago soul. The track works well as a companion to the recently shared 'Peace of What' with its slowed down tempo and subtle modular synth riffs.
‘Dame Fortune’ will be out on March 25 on his own RJ’s Electrical Connections imprint. Hear ‘The Sheboygan Left’ below.
